Sachuset Point National Wildlife Refuge Clean Up Today, we gathered at the breathtaking Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, a stunning peninsula nestled between the Sakkonnet River and Rhode Island Sound. We focused our cleanup efforts along the coastline facing the open waters of the Rhode Island Sound, where visitors and ocean currents had left behind a shocking amount of litter. It was a reminder of how important it is to protect and care for these beautiful spaces. Thanks to everyone who helps restore our shorelines. This past weekend, we had the pleasure of participating another amazing beach cleanup at White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Massachusetts, sponsored by our friends at Manomet.  It was a picture-perfect autumn day—the sun shining and the ocean breeze set the tone for a fun and rewarding experience. As always, we were surprised by just how much trash we managed to collect. Despite the beach looking pristine at first glance, we filled bag after bag with plastic bottles, wrappers, take out containers, old toys, and other debris.
