At Ponlo, we believe every vote matters and it truly takes all of us to make a difference. This weekend, our family gathered to write postcards to voters in swing states, encouraging them to make their voices heard. It was a meaningful experience, especially for our children, who learned about the power of democracy and civic engagement. Small actions, like writing a postcard, contribute to shaping our communities and future. Together, we can inspire change—because democracy thrives when we all show up.

Today, we joined forces at the stunning Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, a breathtaking peninsula between the Sakonnet River and Rhode Island Sound. Focusing on the coastline along the Rhode Island Sound, we tackled a surprising amount of litter left by visitors and ocean currents. This cleanup served as a strong reminder of our responsibility to protect these natural treasures. Thank you to everyone who contributed to restoring our shorelines! Together, we can keep our beaches pristine for wildlife and future generations. Alongside 2,000 curious visitors, we explored the University of Rhode Island's Bay Campus, asking questions and discovering the groundbreaking research and work happening year-round. This past weekend, we had the pleasure of participating another amazing beach cleanup at White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Massachusetts, sponsored by our friends at Manomet.  It was a picture-perfect autumn day—the sun shining and the ocean breeze set the tone for a fun and rewarding experience. As always, we were surprised by just how much trash we managed to collect. Despite the beach looking pristine at first glance, we filled bag after bag with plastic bottles, wrappers, take out containers, old toys, and other debris.
